ShopKeep has a built in loyalty program to reward your customers for frequent shopping. The basics of the program are as follows:
- Rewards are earned ONLY on full priced purchase. So any item that was discounted will not earn rewards.
- Rewards accrue in dollars until you create a loyalty voucher export which will generate discount vouchers and reduce their loyalty balance.
- A customer will only earn rewards if you select their name before ringing up the transaction.
- You must get the customer's mailing address in order for them to get their loyalty voucher. If no mailing address is on file the export will ignore the customer until the address is added.
This is how it works....
The loyalty program needs to be turned on for it to appear in your BackOffice. You may need to upgrade your plan to get this functionality. Email support@shopkeep.com to have us turn it on for you.
To configure click Settings then Loyalty Program.

Once in the loyalty settings decide how you want to reward your customers. The first box is the percentage back on full price purchases of any item. So if you set it to 5.00% for each non-discounted purchase the customer will accrue 5%. The accrual amount will display prominently on their receipt so they customer knows they were rewarded.
