Here is a sample copy of the Sales Export file you can download in the reports section of your BackOffice account. This file includes broad information about each transaction (such as the total price, tax, and payment information). Note that this does not include returns and does not list the specific inventory items in each transaction (that information is in "Sold Items Export").

Some of the Sales Export file's special features:

Sales Record ID - An automatically assigned number created for each transaction.

Customer Record ID - If you have the Loyalty Program, you will be able to select specific customers for each transaction. If you do not have this feature (or are using an iPad register), this number will be the same number for each transaction.

Total Price - The total price for all combined items in a transaction.

Total - The price after any discounts and tax (both options can be turned on or off in your BackOffice account).

Payment Type, Card Type, Name on Card, and Card Last Four Digits - The credit card information used to pay for the transaction (if applicable).
