Here is a sample copy of the Returns Export file you can download in the reports section of your BackOffice account. This file includes broad information about each return transaction (such as the return record, date, and amount returned). Note that this does not include the specific inventory items returned in each transaction (that information is in "Returned Items Export").

Most of the categories in this file are the same as the Sales Export sample and Sold Items Export. Here are some of the Returns Export file's special features:

Return Record ID - An automatically assigned number created for each return transaction.

Return Date - The day and time each return was processed.

Total Price - The total price of the items returned in the transaction based on their unit price (before discounts and/or tax).

Total - The total amount returned to the customer (after discounts and/or tax).
