To get started using your new iPad register app, you'll need to follow the steps below.
First, an explanation.
Your ShopKeep plan includes a certain number of register licenses. This is the number of registers that you can run at one time. For instance, on the Basic plan, you can run just one register at any given time.
Because we use this licensing system, newly downloaded register apps need to be activated. This requires a ShopKeep account, which you can sign up for here.
The register app can be downloaded from the iTunes Store on the iPad by searching for 'ShopKeep Register'.
If you've already signed up, do the following:
- Make sure you've received your activation email and click the link included to activate your account.
- Activating your account takes you to the BackOffice login page (which can also be accessed by visiting "yourstorename".shopkeepapp.com). Here you'll sign in with the username and password that you chose when you signed up.
- Now that your account is active, you can activate your register. Open the ShopKeep app on your iPad and enter the info as follows:
Store Name: yourstorename
Register #: 1
Manager First Name: The first name of the account owner (case-sensitive)
Manager Sign-in: the last 4 digits of your phone number
