New updates to ShopKeep.com may require the update of your local register. This is very easy to do. Follow these instructions:
- Go to the computer you are using for your register.
- Be sure your shift is closed on that register. If not close it now.
- Once the shift is closed shut down the register by clicking the X on the upper right hand corner.
- Log into your BackOffice at [yourstore].shopkeepapp.com using firefox or other web browser.

Go to the register tab and click on the Update Register button.

- It will ask if you want to save the file and you should choose yes. Download it to your desktop or other location where you can find it.
- Locate the shopkeep-register-update.exe file and double click on it to run it (it's probably in your Downloads folder).
- Once the update completes you must restart your computer.
- After your computer has rebooted you can open your shift and start using the register again.
